1) Quality Content – Interesting content, your readers back. Update your blog regularly. Googlebot is Google’s web-crawling robot loves content. The more you update your blog, the more frequently the search engine spiders to return it.
2) Take part in exchange blog communities, such as blogs and blog explosion clicker. Ask other bloggers for their thoughts on your blog and take their suggestions to heart.
3) Publication of an RSS / Atom / XML feed. If you use Blogger, you can access RSS feed by clicking settings in your dashboard and then on site feed and make sure that your settings are set to yes.
4) Carefully choose your subject lines, taking into account what other Internet users for its users. Use keywords in your title. I suggest to subscribe to Wordtracker. The more targeted your keywords are, the greater your return to the search engine’s will.
5) Refer to comment on other blogs. You can only a loyal readership by winning feedback to your fellow bloggers. The comment feature allows you to add a link back to your blog.
6) Make sure you include your blog address in forum signatures and e-mail signature.
7) Submit your blog to directories. Submit your blog URL to Technorati, Daypop, Blogdex and Popdex.
Write articles. Include a resource box in your article and submit it to article directories like iSnare.com
9) If you are using blogging software like Blogger, there is an option to notify the central blog update services (such as weblogs.com) if you have made a new entry in your blog. Make sure that this option is enabled! In Blogger, click on publish in your dashboard and make sure that your settings are set to notify yes weblogs. Alternatively, you can ping-o-matic.com go and sends a ping every update of your blog. This way you can let everyone know that you just updated your blog.
10) Link to other blogs. Use services like blog rolling, which is similar to linking. Blog Rolling, you can maintain an updated list of your favorite blogs. But not to build a long blogroll of sites that you have no intention of returning. There is nothing more annoying then visiting a blog that has a gigantic blogroll.
Be patient, the traffic will not happen overnight. The best way I found to increase traffic by know the people. Do what free time that you have read blogs, with feedback and building friendships. Try to comment on the blogs you visit as often as you can leave. While waiting to get on the road, just enjoy blogging. You will improve your writing in the process. Eventually you will build a network of not only readers, but friends and loyal fans. Blogging is not just marketing, but about creating lasting relationships.
