To the uninitiated, a blog is a personal site that is updated frequently by the author and typically consists of commentary and favorite links, and pictures, or anything else really. There are basically two rules to blogging. 1) update your website at least every 48 hours and 2) that the contents of something compelling .. And since you do not need to HTML, FTP or graphic design to create and maintain a weblog know, it’s pretty fair game for all. Blog-hosting sites, such as Radio Userland (http://radio.userland.com) Blogstream (www.blogstream.com), Square Space (www.squarespace.com) and Blogger.com, offer software for the simple update of the blog-just download and you can start blogging.
Since there are literally hundreds of thousands of blogs, blasted with millions of words into cyberspace every minute, there is necessarily a bad blog. But not all blogs are relentless rants and whining, to be filled that was funny. Blogs are a great way to link exchange with like-minded or not so like-minded people, tips and ideas and to promote services, products, projects and events. If you are an artist or aspiring fashion designer, you can gain exposure for your work by an artist or blog fashion blog. Some bloggers have even “fans” there are merchandise like T-shirts and bumper stickers with their blog site printed. Many companies have also jumped on the blog train to promote itself and provide useful information for their customers. Some of the best blogs are from normal people normal life.
If you do not miss out on the time or the motivation to start your own, you do not have to be blog-o-mania. Many people enjoy participating in reading of other blogs in the political discourse and informed themselves about topics that interest them, and on current trends, what’s going on in a particular city. Food blogs are popular. Find out or share cooking tips and recipes. Get laugh in a good or hosted by celebrity gossip blog with humor and celebrity gossip blogs or blogs from celebrities themselves.
So if you have an idea for a blog, do not be afraid. There are bound to an existing category for your blog, and if not, you can create your own. That’s the beauty of blogging, there are endless opportunities and millions of people who access your Web site
